BASIC FUNCTION

In accordance with local, state, and federal statutes regulating the trucking industry, the Junior Sales role supports the sales management team with an opportunity to collaborate alongside supply chain professionals to make a direct contribution to business results. This position will comply to company standards of excellence of best-in-class service and in support of our Mission.

HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:

1. Analyzes and prospect leads to determine which can contribute to the total revenue earned, maximized efficiency, and quality of performance goals.
2. Identify improvement opportunities in processes and operations for clients and prospects.
3. Participate in various initiative focus on client retention and account penetration.
4. Maintain and cultivate productive working relationships with drivers, colleagues, and customers in a professional and empathetic manner.
5. Collaborates and engages other departments on an as-needed basis (safety, training, sales, payroll, etc.)
6. Ensures PGT and DOT standards are being followed on each load moved on a driver of their responsibility.
7. Performs other related duties as required by business necessity or assigned by management.

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED:

1. Fluent in both English and Spanish
2. Have 2-3 years' experience in Transportation, Logistics, and Supply Chain.
3. Innovative problem-solving skills while expediting solutions.
4. Can demonstrate solid ownership, autonomy, and excellent analytical skills.
5. Operate with discipline, outperform under pressure, and are organized.
6. Possess very good Excel, Power point, and Microsoft Word skills.
7. Sense of urgency and accountability.
8. Graduates of Higher Education studies a plus (Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering, Business being preferable)
